Blu, my cat, likes to jump on my ironing board when I am ironing. He also likes to bully the other furrykids when they are in the room with me. So, for safety sake, and sometimes for my own sanity, I have a screen door in my hallway. People may look at me weird, but who cares - safety and sanity first.

It's what works for you that counts. Sometimes it takes a little trick or two to keep them out of trouble.

Wow!! That's a GREAT idea! I have the opposite problem. I need to figure out a way to allow my 23 pound kitty in to the basement but keep the 5 pound dog OUT.
