I have made this star many times for the booms. Whew, a nice easy one again this time. I will get started on it tomorrow.

Here is my star. Guess I got it in the wrong place. Good thing "they" don't let me out of the house often.

September shooting star went together very well and very quickly. Fun. Also here are my 12 so far. I did a couple of months more than once.

Does anyone have any thoughts on color for sashing?

I think I would go with that light cream color for the sashings, if I were doing it!

I think I would second that. The light cream would be beautiful.

I agree, but I would also be tempted to incorporate the light gold (maybe as star corners where the blocks come together) and the darker red in column 1 rows 1 and 3 for binding.
    Beautiful blocks!

Thanks Jeanie, Judy and Bev. I really appreciate your ideas and I think that I will do just those things you suggested.

Whitepine, all of your blocks are great. I think I would also go with the light cream.
