I like both but the scrappy wins for me. Maybe make one quilt of each?

I like those in #1 a bit more. #1 is new style with older styled fabrics and a bit more colorful. #2 and #3 are the same, right? (Just that the lighting is a bit off in #2?) They all look nice though. What color backgrounds are you putting them on? For an alternate block or quilt you could do Grandmother's Fan (1/4 Dresden) and put lace around the edges of the fans.

I will be putting both of them on a some sort of off white background. I really haven't gotten that far yet to pick out what they will go on.
Yes #2 and #3 are the same pieces but with different lighting.

I think the Batik's are great but I prefer the scrappy for the dresden.

I love scrappy, but the batiks do look interesting used this way...guess we'll just have to sit tight and see what you do with them....
