I've been lurking around awhile, enjoying the tips, pics and agonies. Thought I would share some of my solutions or organizing all my sewing/crafts items in my 12 x 14 room. The metal cabinet holds most of the yard good (salvaged and recycled the bolt cardboard from Walmart bolts and used for my fabrics). The drafting table is my cutting table. All pegboard, shelving done by me, myself and I as I have no significant other. It's small, compact but serves me well.

Well, it was tidy when I finished reorganizing in February. It is still pretty good - I'm making an effort to 'neaten up' when I go to bed so I can have a fresh room in the morning. But, oh, my that is sometimes hard!

Great room.I love how organized you are. I'm a bit of a neat freak, however too many projects going on so right now it's not as neat as I would like. I have to ask, what is the patchwork puppy on the wall? Is he made of fabric?

I'm still admiring your room. I wish I could hang my rulers and notions up like your, I just don't have the wall space.

Thanks for the welcome. I live in Texas, am retired single sewer/crafter and play/sing with a classic country band. Life is good!

That is made of polyester knit fabric in about 2.5 in squares. It was made by a lady from Ireland my mother was a caretaker for quite a few years ago. Mother salvaged it from her estate to keep as a memento. Mom is now 82 and lives with me, so she gave it to me. I treasure it because I knew the lady and it reminds me of mom's loving nature.
