I just love the fact that things DON'T MATCH. What memories! I use my babies' chest of drawers in my sewing room. Also their first grade lunch boxes. Lots of repurposed jars and miscellaneous containers. Even a kitchen cabinet, luggage, cansiter sets.

love the ladder, we can be so resourceful about what we repurpose into usable items to make our lives as quilters easier. great job, I use a changing table to store my small wall hangings and table runners

Love your room. I love surrounding myself with my things. Just makes you feel good.

I'm with you Judy, if you already own the items and you can put them to good use, why buy new. Actually, I think the collection of odds and ends adds character your sewing room... thank you for sharing with us.

I love repurposing! I have my Dad's old ladder and have tried to think of a place to hang it in our house. I really wanted to hang it in out kitchen over the island, but DH is 6'5" and DS is 6'6", it just was to much of a head banger for them. Thanks for sharing and enjoy!...
