I would love to go to your house, You are near The Quilted Rose, I just ordered Thread and Needles from them.
I was in San Francisco last April, went to Tahoe for a quilt retreat. First time to CA for me.
Yes, if you want to come, wait till fall, I'll have an empty room then. Wisconsin is beautiful in the fall.

Love your quilt room! We all start out quilting somewhere.
I made my first quilt on the kitchen table and now I have a large corner in the family room set up for quilting. In a spare bedroom I have all the fabric and kits stored and then my longarm in another spare room. These rooms were once occupied by my two children at one time. (now grown and moved out)
I do like how organized your room is.

You have a very nice setup for yourself. It's always great to make finds of neat items you can repurpose for the sewing room. I do have a question though - I've been searching high and low for a cabinet with those pullout metal wire drawers like you have shown in picture number two. Apparently there is some specific name for them - because I've searched high and low for them and have so far online only found one but its wayyyyyy overpriced. Is there some technical furniture term for them? I really want some but can't find them anywhere, not even in craft/sewing furniture stores. Help please! :-D

These pull out wire drawers were purchased at Menards, I used them for several years in our bedroom, now I have them here and put a board on top with batting for ironing. Wish it was just a little higher, sure my DH can fix that. Check your local Home Depot... or watch Craigs list, I find so many treasures there.

Dang, I almost bought one of those pink lights Saturday when I was at IKEA! Now I'm back home ... 4 hours away!

Love your set up!

Beautiful space, love the old T.V. cabinet being put to use like that(better than holding a t.v any day)
Your room looks very light and cheery.
