Great table... I am also very short 4'8" and I'd love for my hubby to make me a sewing table... pretty sure it's not ever going to happen though..lol.. he hates anything to do with carpentry!
I am using my parents old kitchen table but I'm hoping when it falls apart that he'll build me a new sewing table... (high hopes) So that tutorial would be wonderful!!
    Have a great day!!

wow, like that idea. Gives me something to ponder on while I look at my 'lunching' table in the living room.

I had to laugh at this as I also am short and my husband did the same thing for me many years ago out of an old office desk. Eventually, I passed it on to my daughter. It sure does make quilting easier. I expect that for my birthday this summer, I will be getting an extension table for my featherweight that I showed him recently. It's good to have a DH who is handy!!! Love your setup!!!

Beautiful job! I have a friend who needs a table like this and I'm going to show the picture to her husband. Thanks for sharing.

very good.....my husband took a desk we had and dropped my machine down into the drawer beneath....now the front of the drawer will drop down for changing the bobbin, etc.
