I bought this pattern at a LQS not too long ago and I can't wait to mke it. I promised myself I would finish all of my UFO's first before I start any new. (lets see how long it will last).

Thanks for sharing the pattern! It is truly lovely....Please post pictures after this is quilted. Can't wait to see what you do with that.
I can't wait to see what I do with the quilting either. haha. I never know until I get started. I was thinking stippling in the "shadow" and just meandering elsewhere. Anyone with a better suggestion? Don't get to fancy with the suggestions. I'm a beginner-quilter. what thread would you use? Most of the blocks are dark, but I don't want to use dark thread on the light colored blocks?
I would use a white or very light thread in the light areas, and change to a darker thread for the darker blocks. Maybe a bit more work wtih changing threads but I think a much better result.
