Perfect finish for your beautiful quilt. I am so glad you shared the journey because you are an encourager. I have that book and pattern and would like to do it. Life is too short!

I'm so glad I'm an encourager! The cutting was tedious but it went together beautifully. If I can do it- anyone can!
Thanks for all the nice comments, peeps!

When I picked out the pattern I didn't know I would do red and green but now I can have it out for Christmas and it will blend in nicely. So it can work double for me!

You really did a lovely job with this quilt. A well thought out balance of value and choice of color (complimentary colors from the color wheel always play nice together) combined with a fabulous pattern executed well is just the kind of quilt that benefits from an edge to edge quilting treatment. No need for custom quilting on that beauty as your piecing and execution of the design stands on its own. I hope you have a local show you can enter this in so many other people can enjoy what a beautiful quilt you created.
