I made this for a student worker of mine. She will be getting her CM degree in May. It came out kind of childish but I hope she enjoys it. I FMQ pebbles so it would look like cobblestones and pavement. On the backing I used the money fabric so I can tell her that is all the money she will make once she graduates. LOL It is the shadowbox pattern.

I think it looks really cool and not too childish. I love the 3D look these shadow quilts make. Those focus fabrics look like they are floating above the quilt surface. You did a great job quilting. That is a lot of labor intensive pebbling there.

I love this pattern. I've seen it using rectangles and also with squares. It's on my list of 'one of these days' quilts. Very nice. I am sure it will be treasured. Love the money idea on the back as well. Cha-Ching!
