Smile She's 89 and I want to bless her!!!

I just finished this quilt for a friend of my Mum's (Mum has passed away many years ago) with whom I have been keeping in touch over the years, she's a lovely lady, who still spends her time helping "old" people as she tells me: taking them to the doctor, shopping, dentist, to have a cup of coffee somewhere, take a walk, etc..... Until last Christmas she was still driving her own car, now she takes the bus to go where she has to. She's a darling!!! Winter is around the corner in Switzerland and I thought she might like to have something to warm her knees and legs while sitting in her armchair. So off it goes across the seas!!!
I made some mistakes in this quilt but it was a learning process for the next ones I make to be more careful
Thanks for looking!!!

Looks great to me and very thoughtful of you. I kept in touch with friends of my Mom too. It was like still having a little of my Mom. I'm sure she will be thrilled.
