I am an experienced quilter and nearly bought this panel because it is just lovely. You handled it very well.

I use panel quilts as good practice for my FMQing!!! Yours looks great. Not every quilt has to be an heirloom or a difficult to make.

Somtimes fabric is just too cute to cut. This is a prime example. Very cute childs quilt just the way it is. I applaud your decision.

Thank you for all the positive comments. It was definitely made with love and even though my granddaughter is just 6 months old, her mom and dad already tell her what all the pictures are and it sounds like they have fun looking at them.

It is lovely and nothing is wrong with using a panel.

It is darling, and not every quilt has to be done up in the same way or to the same degree to be nice, useful, and loved. My mother wasn't a quilter, but when my daughter was born, she purchased a piece of prequilted yardage and hand sewed the satin edge on it. A gift of love. Everyone gets to play, and they enter the field in their own way!!
