Default Karen Sienk at our guild meeting today

Two kinds of excitement at today's quilt guild meeting... Karen Sienk gave an eye-popping trunk show. She is from Orchard Park and has won several ribbons displaying her quilts at Paducah. She was almost done, and the fire alarm went off; so we all had to evacuate the building. The police officer I spoke with said it was a sprinkler in another building, but they had to check our building anyway.

She'll never forget that meeting! Those quilts are beautifully done, and it's good to know none of the quilts were damaged.

So did you make a mad rush to grab the quilts or just evacuate like you are supposed to?

I hope you got to enjoy the most of her presentation before the fire alarm...It’s always motivating to see the creativity and work of others.

That would take years off the life of the quilter! I hope she got to do the whole presentation!
