Default Purses. to make, more reasons for fabric

I was looking for a possible way to make a quilted purses, and I think I learned about this webage from some one on the QB.
http://www.allcrafts.net/sewing/pursesew.htm

It has lots of interesting options!

Today I made two test runs with fabric I had. I did have to run to JA form large eyelets, but I managed to not buy any fabric!

The purses are designed to close when suspended, so they look a little dumpy sitting on my ironing table, but when I tried to take a picture of them over my arm I looked a little dumpy!

I think the blue and orange one is going to be my new lunch bag for work.

(both handles are repurposed items- the rope was from a pair of shorts I bought this summer that came with a rope belt! Yeah, cause that is the look I am going for on a summer day! Though I am sure it would be darling in a size 6.)

Those look great. I have lots of fabric set aside in combinations for bags, but I never have the nerve to make them. I'm off to check out the link!
