Only half Irish. I have won the last two Fab Shop Hops and now I find this cabinet and machine :!: I think I best buy a lottery ticket without delay :?

Twinkie, I take this as a high compliment coming from people that collect vintage machines. This is my first one. I never thought I would be doing this. The Quilting Board gave me the "bug" :!: Thank you for commenting.
May you have many years with your treasured machines.

Don't be envious ~ everyone will have a turn ~ it was just my turn. Yours is coming.

Happy Quilting

Redpurselady, it that a 221 or 222 in your avatar (can't tell from the picture)? She sure is a beauty. I love the custom look (for the machines that the original finish was damaged or badly worn), but I still think the originals are beautiful

What did you use to clean this treasure with??? Looks New!!![/quote]

Polly, I used Goop to clean the outside. It is a waterless "NON PUMICE" hand cleaner. Only use a non pumice cleaner. It has no abrasive to it. I put it on cotton balls and wiped off with cotton balls. I used no wax dental floss and Q tips on hard to reach areas. The dental floss worked great on all the threading section. I put two coats of car wax that contains canuba (spelling?). Then I wiped it down with Scotts Liquid Gold and " Viola". If you can't find the Goop, please send me a PM with your address and I will mail it to you. I found it at Walmart. Don't forget the inside of the machine to make sure you hear the beautiful hmmmm! Billy's tuts are what I followed. Please let me know if you need any other help!

Good luck,
Nancy
