Some of you have seen this as a WIP, but now I was able to get a pic of the whole thing. I didn't use fusible, I used the poly platform fabric from deconstructing bed ruffles. It was easy to work with, free and lightweight. I had no problem at all with the knit stretching. I stitched around the logos, etc. with the poly sandwiched between the t-shirt front and back sections.
I decided I wanted it warmer for our upstate winters so I added a fleece backing.
I am very pleased with the final product. It is donated for use in a fundraising event this weekend.

It turned out to be a full size, I'd say

I used freehand random stars to quilt the top to the fleece backing.

What a fantastic quilt. I love how you get all these different elements and make them into such beautiful and unique pieces. You have a real gift for design - love your work.

love it - that is on my list to do one day. i saved all of hubbys concert t-shirts to do this for him. one day i will surprise him with it! i guess i am a little afraid to tackle it- afraid of stretching and also afraid of ruining his t shirts that hold so many memores for him!

Thank you for such kind and generous praise. That sure makes me feel good. I just sit and look at it till it tells me where it wants me to put it. :D
