Honestly, I can't get enough of this quilt!
Teresa said it is called "Snake River Log Cabin" later on she will post the info as to where to get the pattern. ( it's in a book)
Teresa told me I couldn't quilt it to much for her...she Lovesd heavy quilting! She also told me I could do what I wanted...as soon as I saw it I thought "feathers" ....I then asked her if she liked feathers..she wouldn't give me and answer..she kept saying.."do what you want"..LOL OK..Feathers it is!
I just wanted to follow the patterns in the design of the quilt...so that's what I did..I just chose different designs to add interest in each section..double feathers..single feathers, swirls, ribbons.....what a Stunning quilt! The light and dark designs...usually I do a thread change between them on client quilts because I am just "enhancing" a quilt but in this case I thought it was suitable to use the same consistent sage green thread throughout the whole quilt...I just love the way it turned out..and so does the owner.
