Cute idea. I like the multi shading in the beads and they do look like the pop beads of yesteryear.

I think you chose a good name for this. It reminds me of the pop beads we had back in the 50s, that you snapped together to make necklaces or bracelets with.

Oh, I like it a lot. A great lot. What a joyful quilt!

Thought. I am a texture and depth freak. Poofiness. How about emphasizing the "beads" by not quilting them unless absolutely necessary (can't tell how big they really are and, therefore, if they will require quilting to keep everything properly together)? The white fabric can be closely quilted to emphasize the loft of the beads.

What a really cute design! When I quilted my scrappy crayons I did mostly straight stitch, so will enjoy seeing what pattern you quilt into your rows of beads.
