    Default Snowflake Topper

Phillips Fiber Arts just released another free 12 degree pattern...
The photo with the blue fabric with starts was my first attempt.

Wow! I see a wall hanging or quilt with "snow globes" with these as the globes!!! Are they paper pieced?

Very nice work. I have collected all twelve of the patterns, but did not get the wedge as they were sold out. No longer available, so if anyone wants to sell theirs, would love to buy. Yours turned out beautiful.

No this is not paper pieced. Go to the website and look at the 12 degree freebies page for pattern.
If you are going to make the Snowflake - be advised one needs 3/4 yards of "B" fabric because there are two strips missing from the cutting chart (but they are included in the construction diagrams). You will need two 3 1/4" and two 2" strips in addition to those listed on the chart.
I purchased the "Butterfly in the Round" pattern and it came with the 12 degree wedge.
Each pattern has a paper 12 degree wedge template.
