    Default Stow some stuff!

This is a duffle bag made for my son's GF. Pattern from Simplicity, but I doubled the side and end pockets. Made from Amy Butler Lark fabric; the grey is Ivy Bloom and the coral is Souvenier (I think - the name cut off the selvedge!). Pattern was easy to sew - finished bag is great weekender size!

I also altered the straps - original pattern used 3" jute upholstery strapping, which I didn't think looked elegant enough for the Amy Butler. I used 1" cotton strapping and stitched a narrow band of the coral over it.

I need to get busy and make one for myself! Have a great day!
