Love this! I would pretend that I could see what's in the background--trees, clouds, birds, other animals--then quilt that in the background. For the foreground, I would add some texture that would enhance the object--fur on the bears, branches in the trees, water and fish in the stream, etc. Then, when people see the wallhanging from a distance, they'll see the big picture. But, when they move closer, they'll see the details and those elements that are present in the picture but not apparent from a distance. In other words, I'd have fun!
