My daughter always helped me quilt when she was 7-15, then she stopped for a long time, a few years ago my friend suggested to her "that since her mom (me) was such a good quilter, maybe she should take the time and really learn everything I had to offer before I died". First I was shocked being just over 50 that any one including my good friend would even suggest that I would die - threw me off.
My daughter a fine dining chef cooks for me every Monday night at my house, and one night after dinner we were watching tv and chatting and I said to her, "do you want to work on a project together? she said yes, sooooo we started quilting, here are two of her quilts and a closeup of her wonderful free motion machine quilting.

So happy for you two! My daughter (16) does not have any interest in sewing, cooking, etc. However, my future daughter in law does! Yay for me!! :)

Absolutely beautiful! What a great way to spend your time together. She's very talented, she must take after her mom. :)
