Have one of those I'm fighting with right now too.Put it away for awhile andnit will grow on you. Personally I don't think it's ugly.

kids, and especially babies, aren't picky! Especially children who need a warm quilt. Finish it up, there will be someone who will love and appreciate it. And BTW, I don't think it is ugly!!! I love the pop of blue!

I don't think it is ugly, and I know that kids love quilts with lots and lots of contrast...so I say finish it.

I think the colors are beautiful and well-balanced - not at all ugly. Maybe put a couple different sized borders on it, to make it larger and use it as a wrap for watching tv.

Judging by all the positive comments (mine included) you'd better finish it or the quilt police will come and confiscate it for their own use

I agree you are much too rough on your quilt. You may love it when it is done and borders are added to pull it together.
If not I agree that you could donate it ......lots of people would love it!!!!

I think you should persevere and complete it. I was given the same advice with my DP9P Twist and turn quilt. Everyone has such a lot of valuable experience on this board and I took heed and bordered mine and it made all the difference to the whole quilt. Having despaired, of it, hating a particular dominant beige fabric, like you, I now find it acceptable. A lot of your time has gone into that top already, and fabric, so carry on and you may be pleasantly surprised. I am still working on my borders as advised by "the wise ones" and I plan to again post when finished. Good luck.

As others have said, I also don't think that it is ugly. A lot of good sugestions what to do with it if you still don't like it after a while. BrendaK
