Love it - I have been wanting to make a quilt for my bedroom but other things keep taking priority. I love how you laid it out to make it look like a pattern and not just one big pile of scrap material.

I am in AWE. That's beautiful! I have problems doing "random" things and am trying to get myself "into" scrap quilting. This is a great inspiration!

Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments on my scrappy quilt. It sure puts a smile on my face.

A couple of people have asked what pattern I used. Well, initially it started off as a Bricks and Stepping Stones pattern from Quiltville.com then I put a border on it with thick piano keys. Then my dh said, hmmm maybe you should make it to fit our king bed. I was ok. So next thing was using all of my 2 1/2" squares and made sixteen patches. Then another border. Still wasnt big enough lol. Then came my last four patch border. Now, it is big enough LOL..... Then only thing I tried to do was to have a light and a dark piece together. And to make sure that two squares were not alike next to each other.

I ordered backing for it and waiting for it to come in the mail so I can get it together. Then off to the long-armer. )
