You get teacher of the year award from me!! I just know those kids loved seeing their drawings made into a quilt. They did a fantastic job!

Wonderful idea! Working with kids is great. I did a similar project with the toddlers I work with. I painted their hand and had them stamp them on muslin...each child had a handprint square with their name on it...and in the center of the quilt I put a picture of all the kids together...with sashing....then quilted around each handprint...came out so cute...hanging on wall in the classroom. Please post pic when it's done and Happy Graduation!
