These are 3 of my best blocks out of the 7 that I have made so far. I'm so new at this and my time is very limited so I'm lucky to finish 1 or 2 blocks a week. It'll take me a very long time to finish my top.

I think you're doing a great job! We're supposed to be doing this because we ENJOY it, so take your time. You don't want it to become another "must do." It takes as long as it takes!

That's very good. I sometimes go weeks not sewing. I have to feel the urge and want to do it :D

Here is another one, I just finished it while my 10 month old was playing with her toys. I haven't worked on it in over a week, so I'm so happy it's finally done!!

I realize now that the block is done that I should have used a lighter color. It seems like the colors are too close and it's harder to see the pattern of the block.

It is a pretty block and you are right about the colors. But, we all learn, right? Keep up the great work!

And the weeks will go by and suddenly your top will be done. It's looking good, keep enjoying your new hobby.

Are you "blzzrdqueen" because of weather or are you another Dairy Queen fan LOL????
