I tried this out, then after no one being able to tell what it was redid it (as I missed a piece) and now it looks right. I must say the Carol Doak is a very good teacher with her books. I have tried this several times before, but have never been able to have them come out right. I think I'm going to like paper piecing now!!

I forgot to tell you...... its only 1 3/4" square. Here come the minis!! :thumbup:

I've never worked that small.
But I can definitely recognize what it is!! :wink:

What's the plan for the rest of the quilt? wallhanging? mug rug?

I plan to try to make the miniature quilt that this goes with. It has a rotation of sues and hearts. The finished size will be 13.5 in square.

How tiny. How cute. I've never worked on a piece that tiny. Love it - I've got to try it.
