I volunteer at our local food bank on an almost daily basis. The warehouse manager had been taking a lot of vacation so I inquired if he had went anywhere special during his time off. He told me he had been travelling back and forth to Fort Smith, AR to visit his mom. He said that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had just started her chemo. I asked what her favorite colors were, he said purple and yellow. This is what I made for her using the Strip Tube method. Finished it today to give to him tomorrow to give to this mom.

That is very sweet of you. I will keep her in my prayer. It looks like a quick and easy quilt for me. I made one and need to finish the binding on it. I have another that I am half way through piecing (machine). Then I have two more to make. One for dear dad and one for a coworkers husband. Thanks for sharing. I like looking at all the beautiful quilts on the board.
