I ordered the pattern, and it came in the mail yesterday. I've been pulling black/whites from my stash. I am amazed at how many I have....but, of course, there "will have to be additions" to the stack....lol...This will be my project when we go to FL for the winter, for sure. Did anyone stitch theirs through 2 layers of white? Did you just use plain cotton? Looking for any tips I can glean! Really like this one.

I use Kona cotton, I find stitching through two layers a bit tuff with my hands so I just used one. I'm gonna use repeats with my b/w as I have lots of different ones but still not enought so I will have repeats in the borders. Good luck with your quilt and would love to see pictures.

Thank you, I have one more border of flying geese to do and see if he'd like one extra border.

I've got that pattern!
You're turned out gorgeous in black!
I've seen it done in red. I want to do mine in blue!

I have this pattern. How long did it take you to cut out and piece? How long did the embroidery take? With working part-time there never seem to be enough hours in the day. I am finishing up my 3rd christmas tree skirt and still have a door hanging and table runner and placemats to finish before Christmas.
