luvTooQuilt ......the pattern is in McCall's Quick Quilts...Dec/Jan 2014 issue....called "Soft & Rosey" on p. 52. I knew I had to make it for someone the moment I saw the quilt!! I didn't use the same border, as I didn't have a big floral print for the border that matched the rest. And, I was determined not to buy anything IF POSSIBLE this year. So, I just make a checkerboard pattern from the quilt block scraps, etc. I think I like mine better. Glad you like it. It was fun to make...you just have to be careful of the layout with the pinwheels.

Pinwheels always are cute for a little girl. I am sure her grandmother is going to be delighted with the final results!!
