Would love to see your fair entries. I just finished a crocheted quilt afghan, a doily, a baby girl bubble suit, and just started another doily for our fair next month. I also lived in St. Paul and White Bear Lake 30 years ago. My daughter lives in Woodbury.

I think I was around 10 when I learned to crochet. I can't remember who taught me as my mother did not crochet. My sister learned to knit. We did not have TV.

Lovely. The only crochet I can do is single and double to make squares.

What a lovely table cloth! I had an inspiration from this project. I, myself, own a white round kitchen table, and if I have this pattern for me to do in pink, it would be perfect for that table. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful work of art with us.

OMG that is beautiful. I love crocheted stuff. I do doillies myself. Haven't done one that big yet. If you ever decide to get rid or it please let me know. I would be interested in buying it from you.

Oh I love it---I have a round table begging for something like that. I don't know how to crochet at all. Have always had a a passion for beautiful things like that though. It is beautiful. You did an outstanding job.

Oh No - please don't hide this gorgeous piece in the closet!! Put it on the back of a chair, or couch, or as a centepiece on a bed. I wouldn't hide this gorgeous piece away. You could also frame it and hang it on the wall.
