I would wash and dry and iron it, then either practice FMQ or longarming with it and donate it to the homeless. It is cheery!

Thanks for all the ideas. I've made my fair share of uglies, so I know that even the worst of them are made with the best intentions.

I shall see it to it's finish and then find it a good home in an animal shelter. How it looks won't make it any more or less warm and that's all that really matters.

I think I would do some fussy cutting. Maybe make it the twister quilt from the cuts. I've seen several quilts here on the board. Good luck on the challenge, cant wait to see what you come up with.

I just got a rummage sale reject (was a leftover the church was going to throw out) - badly cut pieces all pinned to a hunk of batting. I sewed 'em together (didn't even try to even them up) and it turned out kind of cute. It was like bringing home a puppy from the pound!
Have fun with this..I kind of like the D9P or twister idea.
