I love your spiderweb quilt!! I am working on about 5 different scrappies right now. I use them as my "playtime" -- a little here, a little there -- kind of a warm-up to real sewing. I tear the paper off almost immediately as I want to see it without it. I "best press" them to hold their shape. Maybe I should be leaving the paper on for support till I get all blocks done?

That gorgeous purple really makes the quilt vibrant. Good work.

Stunning quilt. I would suggest Sheer Delite no show mesh stabilizer for your next string quilt project. It doesn't have to be removed and is very light weight. Once you use it, you will wonder how you did without it. Product can be found at www.stripsandstrings.com It is 30" wide and comes in 10yd, 25yd, and 50ys rolls. It works great for machine embroidery as well.

Love spider quilts! There is so much life and energy in yours, and you turned purple into a neutral!

Off to dig in the stash to see if I have something to use for the background/stars.

It is wild and wonderful. Love that you used purple and the colorful "webs" are perfect. What a great job.

This is a most awesome quilt. Excited to see it finished. Love that you used purple as a background. Really gives it a contemporary, modern look. The way you did the inner border edge is cool and then to top it off with piano keys. Wow! I want to make some of these spider webs too!

Thanks, Gingerbpg for the info on stabilizer.
peace
