Default Spinoff of Marche de Fleurs--first one entirely done this year

I started finally on a MUF (my definition though is Masterpiece under FRUSTRATION) that I have been contemplating for nearly a year. After going through a pile of fabric trying to decide which coordinating ones to use, I laid it aside. Then I took off on this one breaking my own rule of don't start another until the current one is finished. I can't wait to get it quilted. A very kind person on the board pointed me to the correct fabric. I had bought the 6.5" squares very reasonably on ebay but couldn't find coordinating fabric in yardage because it was advertised under the incorrect name. However, it worked out and this is the finished product, except for the quilting. I spotted the Marche de fleurs quilt in the Keepsake Quilting catalog and thought my squares could be easily adapted to this project without having much waste.
So here is my moment of sanity while I further contemplate the MUF. Hope you enjoy. There were several firsts for me--the ripper and I are very GOOD friends now.

Now back to the MUF.
