Now for something completely different!

Exclusively Quilters added a new group of fabrics to their website, and some of these remind me of the Spirograph toy that I used to play with. Guess everything old is new again!

You can see the whole collection on the maker's website:
http://www.classiccottons.com/c-95-a...-november.aspx

But I'll post one picture here, just for fun. (They're doing this design on black, too.)

I'd love to see this in the black! It's funny I have been thinking about buying another spirograph. I had one as a kid too and loved it. I can still remember playing with it for hours. But the reason I want to buy one again is to use it for quilting patterns. I think some of the designs created with a spirograph would make awesome quilting designs.

Feline Fanatic, you *can* see it in the black, on the manufacturer's website. The link is at the top of the post. They have another print, too, which has a larger scale motif, and I can really see that used for kaleidoscope work (as someone else suggested).

The maker also posts a quilt picture. You can easily see that it is not a "real" quilt, though, just cut-and-paste pieces of the fabric pictures. Hmmm. I'm sure a creative person could come up with something even better!

I did buy a spirograph for tots so that I could come up with quilting patterns to use on the stack n whack quilts. So far I haven't used it but it's there when I need it.
