Love your quilt! Is this the creme brulee pattern that was in a magazine?

Your totally different border really adds pizzazz to the quilt. Great job and I had never seen rail fence with pinwheels. Lovely!

Thanks for all the nice comments. Yes, this is the pattern of the creme brulee picnic quilt that was shown awhile back on the forum.

The pattern I used is on this webpage
http://colormequilted.com/favorite-patterns/

Searching the Quilting Board's forum, here is the first one I saw that I loved, Char's quilt
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t160415.html and
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t167510.html

Chairjogger's quilt
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t194130.html

Here is a link to Peggi's version
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t191784.html

Here is fixfido's version
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...y-t172168.html

There may be more photos of them out there, but that's a start! Enjoy!

I'm learning to add triangles to the rail fence pattern so I noticed yours. You did a great job on matching the pin wheel seams to each other and to the rail fence. I like your quilting too. The simple quilting design doesn't take away from the piecing. Of course, there are times when more elaborate quilting is called for.

What a wonderful quilt! Thank-you sew much for sharing those links.

Love to see the same pattern made by different people for ideas.

Love it, and your colors are absolutely gorgeous! I'm working on one right now and hope it comes out as pretty as yours!
