I made this top more than a year ago and finally got it on the frame last weed and finished the quilting yesterday. DH had the car most of the time last week so I couldn't get to the shop to work on it, but it is fianny done! Today I'll add the binding and sew in about 200 threads. Then it is in the mail on Monday. I know it will be late, but at least it will be on it's way. I am so happy to get it finished and hope she will enjoy many years of use snuggled up in it. It is called "I dream of Butterscotch". One picture shows it on the frame and the other is done but for the binding.

That is gorgeous! It feels so good to finish something, doesn't it? Your sister will be thrilled.

So pretty I love it.

But.... what I really want to know is, how can I get a pattern for the Orca quilt in the background? My 11year old DD is "obsessed" with Orcas, she can tell you the name, age, birth date and family tree of every Orca in captivity in the world. I have been looking for a pattern to make her a quilt and haven't found one I love yet. I love that one! It would make a perfect center block for her quilt. Do you know where I can find the pattern?

It's lovely. It might arrive late but it will be worth the wait.
