Hi, I'm sort of new here. This is a quilt I made for a grand-niece for X-Mas. The original design is by Gwen Brown & in Fons & Porter's winter 2008 magazine. I adapted the colors to what I was able to purchase. It was hand quilted in sections then sewn together. Hope it passes muster!

I've never really known what muster is, but I think you passed with flying colors! (Edit to say, wasn't the flying colors comment appropriate for this quilt, heehee?)

Your quilt is beautiful! Your grandniece will love it!

Definitely DOES! You did a beautiful job with both the piecing and the quilting.

Jan, that is fabulous! I am not a "brights" person when it comes to fabric but I love the way the colors just seem to glow. And your hand quilting is beautiful!! I'm drawn to all things Celtic and seeing your quilting makes me smile. Your grand-neice is a lucky girl!

Thank-you all for your wonderful words. I think the hardest part was which colors to use! I even learned how to draw celtic knots in the process!!!
