    Gorgeous. I have a foot that allows me to zigzag over cording, etc. as you lay it down - have you tried that? I haven't but it sure sounds good to me. Carol

    Hi everyone, thanks for looking and for your kind remarks. To answer your questions: I used Elmers washable shcool glue, that is why I am going to zig-zag over the yarn.

    I am going to use the cording foot. I haven't practiced with it yet, but will this evening. Also think I am going to use black thread, but am going to try the monofilament also.

    Regarding the Hot Ribbon, love the sound of it and Mrs. Hancoop's technique, however, the cost of the ribbon is really prohibitive for me. At $3.95 to $4.95 for 2 yards, just too expensive. Her patterns are really wonderful, can't believe I didn't know her name and her work.

    WOW! Love that fluer de lis! Stunning quilt. Was that a pattern? Would be great housewarming gift for my SIL.
