Cindy60545 - Your rose is gorgeous!!! And I love that flying geese border, sure wish I had thought of it. Hope you don't mind if I steal your idea for my pansy quilt that I am working on right now. It looks like you echo quilted in the body of the quilt, what did you do on the borders, the same? Again your quilt is beautiful.

Polly that is absolutely beautiful. I love the red rose and bud on the black background. I think black makes everything really pop. Is the border sewn with white thread like that or is that the fabric design on that piece of material. It really adds to the center rose. What a lovely quilt that is going to be. IMHO I would not get too fancy with stitching in the background so as not to take away from that lovely rose. Please post when you get it finished. I just love it already.
