    Default Texas Style Christmas Stocking

For the new little ones in the family, I try to complete a Christmas stocking for them, and this will be for a little great niece in Texas. I have seen pictures of this kind and adapted mine to fit the fabric I had on hand. I used the leftovers from the mitering of corners for a previous quilt and the strip sets that made several tree skirts and Dresden plates for the back. I also used some Swavorski crystals for the centers of the poinsettias to kind of make it snap a bit more. I learned several things not the least of which a pattern would have been helpful and not to EVER make such a sharp pointed toe. Not perfect, but hopefully will be liked.

On the design board complete with threads from other projects.

The back. Now need to think of two more for wedding presents and have a new great??? coming next summer. Have a great week and thanks for looking.
