These are the blocks I have finished for my DGD's quilt. She will be 12 in Dec. and she is definitely a flip-flop loving girly girl. All of the bright fun fabrics we picked remind me soooo much of her. I have a long way to go, but, making these blocks was so much fun!

how cute is that!! Are you going to put something inbetween the blocks? I think that you are doing a wonderful job on it and that any teen or preteen girl would love it. Thanks for sharing.

Very neat. Are the flip flops appliqued on or are they pieced? I am thinking it must be applique but sometimes I get surprised.

Looking good. I live in flip flops or bare feet in the summer. I may have to try one of these some day. Can't wait to see it finished.
