This is an awesome quilt. Who would have thought the log cabin could look like this! Your colors are awesome! Think I would at least use a solid black border, then maybe follow up with the border that has the small colored squares. There really is no "loser" with this quilt. Whatever you choose will be stunning.

I am sorry,,,I would just make a 4" black border and call it DONE...or it will get too busy for the eyes...the quilt is bold enough..it doe not need any more visual conflicts...make it look like it is floating in the sky....like a firework!

You took my breath away. This is my type of quilt - bright,bright,bright.
I don't think it needs more color in the border - would take one's eye away from the center. If you feel you must have color just the small squares.

Oh yeah, that is right up my alley! I'm bookmarking this one! I like the border on the left, the bright squares in the black.
