Until you posted the second block I was thinking the block may have been a Bento Box, rather than scrappy. Pretty fabrics.

I don't know exactly how to describe it, however if you will click on the link (below) it will take you to a free pattern of this block. Ironically enough I found it here on QP! Great group of ladies that can help you with, and tell you anything about quilting you will ever need to know!

Does the fabric you're using have sentimental value? I love the bold green/blue accent in the middle. I'm wondering if the fabric is from your stash. I'll be watching to see how it all turns out.
