I call it my fabric collection, too.

I love your "crackle finish" fabric & have bought that one a couple times in the past as well.

I like your red, white and blues and here is an idea for your soldier quilt...

I hope you like it. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress! :)

I think that we should have a dedicated day that people post pictures of their stash.

I can not afford to keep up with some of these stashes.

I am trying to reduce my stash so I am on a "fabric diet" but if I find something I canont resist it goes home with me. I have been pretty good.

My son is in the Navy and I made him a quilt when he graduated boot camp. I used a pattern called "Hidden Stars" by Sweet Pea Designs. It would work for your military quilt. You have enough different fabrics and the stars would be fun in a Hidden Star quilt pattern.

I know what you mean about buying fabric. I went to Hancock's today to look for the Pilot Frixion Pen I have been reading about and found M'Liss batik on sale for $5 a yard. I really needed(?) some light color batiks so I bought 4 yards. I would have loved to buy 4 yds of each but just couldn't afford it.

I don't try to keep up with other people. Just buy what YOU like and can afford. You'll find that the endless possibilities that you see from the fabric that you bought will keep you quilting for years to come. ;-)

you can never have too much fabric, I just used up the last bit of that neutral with the cracked look that you bought, and I love the patriotic border with the bunting.
