Wink Still no design wall... But quilt fixed

I got rid of the angel of death on my whirlygig quilt. I posted my piecing error earlier and received some great suggestions. But things are never as easy as they seem. Someone suggested I just turn some of the whirligigs around but because the way the blocks were pieced that would not work. I needed to take the whirligigs completely apart to correct direction of swirls. Just too much seam ripping for this girl. So I found some additional fabric on Etsy and made 2 new whirligigs and the angel of death is gone. I feel a little lazy but for $20 of fabric it was well worth it for me. Still plan on a design wall though😀

It could also have been a cloaked priest giving a blessing.

But I understand that once "seeing" something - it does not go away.

Anything with a pinwheel design does look out of place if they are going into two different directions.

Don't feel so bad...I did the same thing with a block of the month quilt block. It is going the wrong way too but since it is the only one in the quilt, I left it. Should have made another one and turned it around but was too lazy. Thanks for sharing your blocks they are very nice.

I love those blocks. Makes them look like stack and whack. Waiting to see the finished quilt. It will be beautiful.
