That's soooo sooooo cute! She will love it. It'll bring fond memories. It is definitely a site to behold, especially Times Square. It's especially nice flying in and out of NYC at night and seeing all the lights!!! 8) 8) 8)

Thank you Ranger and everyone for your kind words.

The block in my avatar wasn't difficult at all. It was paper pieced which I'm learning is lots of fun and an easy way to make sharp, crisp points. This was the center block from a table runner pattern bought at a LQS.

Great quilt. the traffic light buttons is a perfect addition. Bet you won't have to explain that to your friend.
