Great job on both! DH is a Tetris fan; I can't wait 'till he gets home so I can show him these :D

I am in the process of making myself a blue/purple quilt and I love this pattern. I will move next to Sue and Lisa so we can all be sisters, OK?

To Bevanger... the original title of the pattern was "planned patch hood".
I call it Four Patch Surrounded.

To Rein... Yes, sure you are welcome. It would be neat if we really could be that close.

To Izy... I got the rocket up a few times myself. The first time it happened I almost fell off my chair.

To all you other wonderful ladies... thank you for all the wonderful compliments.

I just took at look at planned patch hood and think your revision is superior. I had drafted out the pattern earlier this week and made some sample blocks using 1-1/2 inch strips. Your combination of bright colors and different patterns is the key. When I combined two lights and two darks, I felt that the sizzle of block was absent. My friend, Rose, is going to make something for her husband whose name is Tom. We liked the "t" shapes. I was pleased with the 2 -1/2 inch strips from my stash collection for the finished eight inch block. Thanks for sharing your treasure.

Piecefully yours,
Kay Susan

To Luvrazz: The pattern I found was on the site "quiltblocksgalore". It is called Planned Patchhood. Good luck.

Saravincent..........yes it does. Especially when you look at one block at a time. Thanks for the link.
