I started with a pillow pattern, changed the color scheme & added my own creative flair. I made six blocks & found a fabric I liked for a sashing. My DH actually came up with the edging parallelograms. He gets me into more fixes!! I had an awful time with that, but finally got it together satisfactorily yesterday. I have a reservation to get it sandwiched tomorrow. I can hardly wait!! I've already loaded my roll of batting into the trunk! Tonight I'll get the rest ready. My DGD likes it so far. GGD it's for was born a month early!

What a beautiful Sue. Or should I say bunch of Sues.
I'm sure the great will love it, especially when she's around 3 or 4, when little girls really get into the pretty stage. Congratulations on the addition to your family, may she bring you all joy.

You SBS's are very cute, and I like the colours you chose.

Love your Sues and the border - hubby "done good" - but you are the one to pull it all together. An heirloom for your GGD for sure.
