Being an infj personality I saw the picture and laughed...with glee!
I could see it the way you saw it, but I could also see it the way my grandmunchkins
would and it's perfect for an eight year old Feline.
I love your pet name for it .
It's a very happy pattern and the binding is Perfect for it.
Almost makes me want to be a kid again.

Oh I love it! While I like the term Technicolor Vomit (clown barf is another one I've heard...) I brought along a project to work at while I'm at my mom's as she recovers from back surgery. I'm calling it "a quilt too loud to sleep under".

I bought a bag of assorted scraps at the Goodwill, most of the fabric isn't anything special, Walmart and Joann fat quarters for the most part. I would never have brought most of those fabrics home, yet as a grouping they all work together. I'm using that bag as an exercise in freedom from my usual OCD quilting method. Fabrics I didn't and wouldn't necessarily choose (although there are a couple I like quite a bit), and I'll be making over-sized wonky 9-patches without matching seams and cutting at odd angles. I think it will end up looking like one of the quick crazy quilt techniques and I'm hoping someone will love it (it will be a donation project).

Again, even if it doesn't appeal to you, I think that is one special happy quilt!

Happy, happy, happy quilt. It lifts the spirit and makes you want to start the day off on the right foot. Brightens the room. I think you did a marvelous job on it and the quilting is fabulous. You made one little girl happy. It may not be something I'd put on my bed but maybe I should. Be proud and go ahead put a label on it without naming it.

I love the name you used(privately)! I have many quilts that the name I know them as is not on the label. Love how you quilted the wonky squares as a ghost of the "splats"!
